The TCI Top Model Contest & Fashion Extravaganza is an event that is designed to give those persons residing in the Turks & Caicos Islands who are interested in careers in the fashion and creative industry an opportunity and the platform to debut and showcase their talent, with the hope that this will be a springboard to a career locally or abroad. With the theme, Carnivalé: Culture. Music. Fashion! Washanda stole the show, not only winning the contest, but three awards too—Industry Readiness, Best Body and Fashion Forward.
